TEAM ENERGY PRESIDENT NAMED TOP UP ALUMNI ENGINEER

TeaM Energy’s President and CEO Federico E. Puno (left) is named one of the Top 100 Alumni Engineers of the University of the Philippines College of Engineering during its Centennial Celebration held recently at the UP theater. He is joined by his wife, Josefina L. Puno. The award was given to UP alumni engineers in recognition of their contributions to the profession. Puno, a member of the class of ’68, has held positions in both the government and private sector, and served as president of the National Power Corporation from 1998 to 2001. Currently, he heads TeaM Energy, a partnership between Japanese firms Tokyo Electric Power Company and Marubeni Corporation, one of the largest independent power producers in the country.
